Dave is one of the founders of Cronkite & Kissell and has been an active member of the business valuation community since 1988. He has valued business enterprises, intangible assets, shareholders’ equity and equity derivatives across a wide spectrum of industries and for a variety of purposes.

Previously, Dave held senior positions with several international accounting firms including Coopers & Lybrand, BDO Seidman and Deloitte & Touche. Prior to entering the valuation profession, Mr. Kissell was a tax consultant in the public accounting arena where he was involved primarily in personal financial planning. After graduation from law school in 1982, Mr. Kissell practiced law in Connecticut and as a legal associate performed general research and writing and presented oral argument in numerous venues.

Dave earned a B.A. degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1979 with a major in Economics and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Western New England College School of Law in 1982. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst as designated by the CFA Institute and an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers.
